VPN Problem
Sometimes when I go to a website it won't let me in, but after I turn off the VPN it does let me in. And these are legit companies. Why do they do that?

More and more websites are detecting when a VPN is being used. @Alexandru_BD did a good job in explaining it here.
You can also add that site into Split tunneling.

Thanks for you reply. I'm the opposite of a geek, but will try to follow your guidance on this!

No problem, some of the steps are, can be a little intense. The more user friendly steps are #1 changing to a server closer to where you live may help your location look closer to the website. Or, step #3 where it will bypass just that website you whitelist to be able to log into it as normal.
