Urgent Issue with "Encrypted Web Scan" Blocking Websites

Dear Bitdefender Community

I installed Bitdefender today, and my initial experience was great. However, after a few hours, it turned into a frustrating one. This is my first time using Bitdefender, and I was surprised to find that the "Encrypted Web Scan" feature is blocking several important websites, including ChatGPT Web and Iberdrola, among others.

I have tested this multiple times, and the issue consistently occurs. When I disable "Encrypted Web Scan," the pages work again, but when I enable it, they stop loading. This confirms that the feature is causing the problem. As you could see, enabling the option causes some pages not to load, and these are not malicious websites.

Additionally, I noticed that the support log generated a file over 25 MB, which is absurd. Either increase the attachment size limit or prevent the logger from creating files larger than 25 MB.

I need this issue resolved as soon as possible. I have recommended Bitdefender to others, and I don’t want to be in a position where I regret that recommendation. Please let me know what information you need to replicate and fix this issue. I’d appreciate a swift response.

Best regards,
Cesar

    Hello.

I think that your best option is to contact Bitdefender Consumer Support.

First, take screenshot(s) of the issue,

create a log file on your Windows device using Bitdefender Support Tool, by following these steps:

    https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1733/

    and

create a log file on your Windows device using BDsysLog, by following these steps:

    https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1922/

Next, contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by e-mail:

with short description of the issue.

After that, you will get an automated reply by the Bitdefender Customer Care Team, with your ticket number.

Now, in reply to that automated reply, you can send the screenshot(s) you already took and the log files you already created in the first step.

Remember that the screenshot(s) and the log files will help a lot to the support engineers for better and faster investigation on your issue and finding a solution.

NOTE: If any of the log file is larger than 25MB, you can upload the log file here:
