My computer was compromised I called Bitdefender, but turned out to be a fake Sofia White 888 226 6629 and 888 225 6629 They got into my computer and began fake transfer in my broker accounts the real Bitdefender has no phone number and hard to contact with customer support Any one have such an experience

Jumping in here as well, because I think there's more to the story. First of all, I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you and I appreciate you posted here to share this unfortunate experience with us.

How exactly was your computer compromised? And how was this information delivered to you? Was it an alert from the security software, or a pop-up in your browser, when navigating? Here's how to tell a fake antivirus warning from a genuine alert:

A few things worth noting here:

There's no "Sofia White" and those phone numbers don't belong to Bitdefender.
Bitdefender employees will not perform any kind of transfers when remotely connecting to your device for troubleshooting purposes and Support is free of charge for Bitdefender users.
Bitdefender does have multiple contact phone numbers and other contact channels (chat, email) available for their customers and they can be found at the link shared by Flexx above.

I suspect this is a case of fake infection pop-ups, a scam explained in the blog article I've shared above, and that is also linked with the phishing tactics described here:

I would like to start with the fact, that every time I have called Bitdefender I have always been able to reach someone and get the problem resolved. But on the the topic of discussion, I am a cybersecurity expert, I am too curious at how your hack was orchestrated. Based on the information I read in your post, I can assume that you clicked on something that you should not have, or you called that number after you went to a page that threw a fake ad, and told you to call that number and then gave them access. Please go into more detail, I am curious and would like to know more about the compromise you experienced.

A lady named Sofia White had me install Ultra viewer and got access to my data She referred me to another company 888 225 6529 and a guy tried to get me to let him install something and I hung up The next day a fraudulent transfer of $50,000 was executed by JPM to be collected from ALLY Both are my accounts, but ALLY only has $4,000 I had the Ultra viewer removed by GEEK/Best Buy My computer is attacked daily and Bitdefender blocks the intrusion I need to scrub my hard drive If you call 888 226 6629 someone will answer

OK, let's rewind a bit to the "point of contact" so we can better understand how the scam unfolded.

"Bitdefender shut down my computer and mentioned Facebook" — this is crucial to understand. How exactly did the antivirus shut down your computer and what's the connection with Facebook? What exactly did the notification say, because most likely this happened while you were browsing, so I'm 100% sure it was a fake notfiication meant to create a sense of urgency and to get you to call that number where the actual scam took place..

But did you provide any sensitive data over the phone, or the scammers got this when they connected remotely?

Now, if you do a quick search for that number online (888 226 6629), it appears to be displayed on various shady domains claming it's a contact number for "Support", but they associate it to several antivirus vendors, which is of course another red flag. Some of the websites are no longer operational.

Fake browser pop-up, in this case from "Windows", claiming there's an "issue" with the system and urging the user to call a number for remediation. There, the fake "support agents" usually claim remote access is required to fix the "issue", this way they get access into the system and steal the user's data and other sensitive information they may find, or they install malicious software which later collects information without the user's knowledge and sends it straight to the scammers. For example keyloggers to get login details on baking websites and so on.
As the scam unfolds, they exploit the user's anxiety about what he thinks is happening on the device in those moments, creating the sense of urgency and not giving him enough time to take a step back and let common sense kick in to think this through.

From what I can tell you were caught in a donation scam, the FBI has warned about the Sofia scam, which was done by panhandlers, but it appears that it went digital, you may have been on a site, that got lucky at guessing your anti-virus protection, this is no fault of Bitdefender, my suggestion is to file a police report and develop a not trust policy, if "Bitdefender" contacts you like that reach out to them in a chat. I am sorry this happened. But it is not the fault of Bitdefender.

That sounds like a classic tech support scam — the real Bitdefender doesn’t provide support through those numbers, and scammers often pose as security companies to gain remote access and trick people into fake “refunds” or transfers. If they accessed your computer and accounts, it’s critical to:

Disconnect your device from the internet.
Run a full scan with legitimate security software.
Change your broker, bank, and email passwords from a different device.
Contact your broker and bank immediately to report unauthorized access.
