BD encourages me to scan the CD in my PC every boot, even if only minutes apart. How can find the option to opt out of a CD scan every boot. I do not even use that drive. And thank you kindly! 😀
Do you have a CD inserted in the drive, or is it empty? Is there an ISO mounted?
Protection → Antivirus → Settings → Scan CD & DVD
Hello.
Open your Bitdefender program, go to Protection -> Antivirus -> Settings -> Scan CD & DVD and select "Disabled".
Regards.
Yes, yes I do. Is this why? Well that's simple enough. Just remove the disk. I have 2 answers here and both equally good. I'll shut down and try this since your reply is the oldest and if works will answer YES. However Gjoksi has also given a good reply. I'll be baaack! (Terminator) Also: after this I notice you gave the Settings that work also. Thanks again!
dvsls: this seems to have worked. Thank you! I wonder why if it scans the other drives without automatically it doesn't scan the Optical Drove auto also? Oh well, thanks!
Thank you fellow user! lol I found that and I'm sure it equally works likely allowing me to leave a CD in the drive, having it available. Can there be 2 accepted answers? I doubt it. But dvsls was oldest, earliest, I found it worked to, but again, I like your solution for allowing one to remain. Do you know anyway I can give you kudos also? G'day and thanks! 😀👍️
