Hi,
The Bitdefender Virtual Disk is causing me a ton of issues with system checks for online certifications, I’ve also emailed support about this.
The system checks carried out by the online test provider are flagging my laptop as being a virtual machine due to the vhd that bitdefender has created, and I cannot enter the exam with the vhd being in place.
as I understand things:
- The virtual disk underpins the web protection architecture for QUIC and HTTP/3
- The conditions for the disk being created are all 3 of these conditions must be true windows 11 21600, QUIC enabled and Bitdefender 27.0.55.298
I’ve disabled QUIC in edge:///flags - and restarted the virtual disk still appears.
The only reliable way to fix this is:
- Uninstall Bitdefender and reboot - vhd is removed
- Downgrade Bitdefender to pre 27.0.55.298 version if possible?
Can anyone else share any more guidance? Or can we have an option to disable or pause HTTP/3 QUIC security in Bitdefender which will unmount the vhd for the duration of the pause?
