Error Access Violation At Program Terminated

Dear Support,

I received "Error: access violation at program terminated" message when I try to run my program "Advanced Task Scheduler, http://www.advscheduler.com/". After I uninstalled the Bitdefender Internet Security 2011, the "Advanced Task Scheduler" program can boot up, run and get no error message.

In Firewall even I added rules for "Advanced Task Scheduler" program but Bitdefender software still blocking it.

I am using Windows 7 32 bit.

Can you please advise what settings in the Bitdefender software I should set to allow "Advanced Task Sheduler" program can boot up and run?

I am using this application because Bitdefender did not have Time Scheduler to close the programs.

Thanks.

  • Hello,

Try to add the Advanced Task Sheduler as an exception into Antivirus into BOTH locations: into Exceptions tab and into Antivirus -> Custom Level -> AVC.

You will need to add all the EXE files used by Advanced Task Sheduler.

    Thsnk for your reply.

What I have done, I added all the EXE files used by Advanced Task Scheduler into "Exclusions" tab in the "Advanced Settings" in the "Antivirus Shield" (See below)

Antivirus---Shield----Advanced Settings-----Exclusions, but it still did not work.

I could see Antivirus tab-----Exclusions tab (this Exclusions tab not allow me to add files)

    I could not find Antivirus----Customer Level----AVC, I could find Antivirus tab-----Advanced Settings---AVC

Can you please advise more details, it still did not work. <img class=" />

    Thanks.

  • Indeed, you should go to Advanced Settings. My bad, I apologize. So under Antivirus -> Advanced Settings do you have the AVC and IDS enabled ? If yes, what is the level of the slider for each of these features ?

If not, please provide me with a download link for the software you have issues with so I can start conducting some tests. Also specify what exactly is not working at the Advanced Task Scheduler while having BitDefender installed.

    Thanks for your quick response.

Answer to your questions, the settings of AVC is default level, the IDS is disabled.

    1. I have added all EXE files of Advanced Task Scheduler following sections.
    Antivirus------Exclusions

    Antivirus------Advanced Settings-------Exclusions

    Firewall-------Programs

The Bitdefender still blocking Advanced Task Scheduler.

    2. And also I try to turned OFF Antivirus, Antispam and Firewall. It did not solve the problem.

Here is the link of Advanced Task Scheduler 2.X Professional Win32 for Windows 7 http://www.southsoftware.com/downloads.html, my sytem is Windows 7 32 bit. Can you please let your team conduct some tests on the software, please keep me inform.

    Thanks for your help :)
