Hello, I have recently gotten a notification from Bitdefender total security saying that an exploit was blocked from some IP address - I have blurred it out just in case it is sensitive info. Advanced IP Scanner Exploit Notification Possible False Positive. Any Suggestions?
I was scanning my network with Advanced IP scanner from my PC and got 3 simultaneous notifications of blocked exploits from different IP's on the network (a printer and 2 wifi access points). Can these be false positives related the use of Advanced IP scanner? Any other things I should check?

Does anyone know if this needs to be on? It seems since I Have Bitdefender I would not need the exploit protection from Microsoft. I'm looking at the BitDefender home product comparison, and couldn't see whether * There is protection against malware (eg. DNS locker) * There is protection against "exploits" * Whether there is real-time prevention of attack I was comparing with the Malwarebytes product.
