Thanks for letting me know.

That seems to have gotten rid of the notification, it probably reduces security though. I'm just going to switch vendors temporarily because the support agent I contacted just told me that the notification is there for "informative" purposes while completely ignoring the bug I mentioned, and it's not my first rodeo with…

It's safe from the site you are showing here, but be careful as there are lots of copycat websites.

Bitdefender free had a Beta, it was more stable than the current versions.

Go to support and tell them about your problems. I guarantee they will tell you to buy their paid version. (Like they have to many others) But hey! Quality Assurance is fun, right?
-
Hahahaha, You can try to report bugs on the forum, but the chances of BD listening are slim. Good luck though.

4 hours ago, SebastianDI said: quote: "Firefox fails some but not all secure connection requests after the install of Bit Defender Free" may i ask, which version u are using? I am really curious about that thing. thanks in advance, DI As far as I know it still breaks the latest versions, right…

Very helpful, more helpful than whatever Bitdefenders been doing about this for the past year. How's that going btw, /index.php?/profile/9374-rootkit/&do=hovercard" data-mentionid="9374" href="<___base_url___>/index.php?/profile/9374-rootkit/" rel="">@rootkit

Haha, good to know bitdefender still hasn't done ANYTHING to fix this, it's been what, a year now? Why hasn't this been worked on? /index.php?/profile/201429-sorin-g/&do=hovercard" data-mentionid="201429" href="<___base_url___>/index.php?/profile/201429-sorin-g/" rel="">@Sorin G.

Ignore me lol. Sorin you saw nothing.

Turn off protection and try again, if this stops happening I may know the problem.

Your browser is telling you the permissions TrafficLight has, it has the permissions to modify and read these things. But it doesn’t mean it will. its basically saying it has high permissions.
-
This should be fixed by now.... :/
-
Oh wow! Awesome! Thanks for listening to your consumers Love the new design.

An admin decided to delete the link I provided for a poll :/ I do not know why but the original poll had a score of 3 - yes 1 - no Feel free to comment on this post instead of using the now missing link, I would repost it, but I think I have enough warning points as it is.

This might sound stupid but have you tried typing the IP address of your printer in the url exclusion? Wow now that I have typed it out, it sounds really stupid, but it’s still worth a try.

File and folder exclusion is now a thing on BD free

Bitdefender free’s lack of changelogs per update is annoying. There are some bugs and I won’t be coming back to bitdefender until I know those bugs are fixed, hence the reason I need to see a change log.

MSE? God no. Kaspesky free doesn’t even have real time protection, god no. try Avast or Avira Cloud with Comodo Firewall. Sometimes I wonder if you people are joking or not when recommending products
-
Don't worry, they won't provide you with a fix, if you contact them they will probably tell you to buy their paid product.

Yeah, sort of seems like BD doesn't care at all. Which is sad, cause I was considering buying their premium products. But now my mind has changed.
-
I am having this problem too! Started after installing their root certificate. Bitdefender needs to get their act together and fix this right away. I’m also thinking about reinstalling Avast (my previous vendor)
-
Without Malwarebytes real time protection everything is fine. And that is why you should be able to choose whether or not you want to uninstall the program or not. But Bitdefender does not give you that choice. Unlike many other Antivirus Products I've seen, including some that are completely compatible and don't even ask…

I forgot to mention, I'm using bitdefender free, the reason I posted this on a paid version of bitdefender is because there was no "install and activation" category under the Bitdefender Free on these forums.
