Why don´t you try the following: Open BD main window->View Features->Web Protection Settings-> Turn OFF Scan SSL and see if that solves your problem.

5 minutes ago, netmon said: This may not help, but as a counter-example I am having none of these issues with Bitdefender. Note all installs were clean installs of Bitdefender Total Security 2018 v22.0.10.141, and not an upgrade from a previous Bitdefender version: * Win 7 64-bit fully patched - ok (first thoroughly…

Hi Sorin, It is WiFi connected and after some trial and error, I discovered that it indeed prints, BUT and this is a huge one, when you click on the print icon, and you select 0K, you have NO access to any of your printer´s options, you know, select the quality: draft, photo, etc. or the number of copies, the size, just…

anyone? Sorin?

Thanks Sorin, Do you have an estimate date for the 118 build auto update to be released?
-
Thanks, The RE-installation process in fact is pretty easy, but for example: ...the SAFE FILES ----> APPLICATION ACCESS ----> + Add a new application to the list process can be a real PITA as you loose all the programs that have been added there and I for that matter, have 16 added programs that will have to be RE-Added…

...does build 22.0.8.118 installs by itself through automatic update or do we have to download it and install it from scratch? 22.0.8.114 is my actual build and by clicking "update now" does nothing

Not me, I´ll do, Thanks

...or lastpass for that matter!

Thanks Mindrucencu, Just out of curiosity, I went to Bitdefender Central and WITHOUT uninstalling previous 2017 ver., I downloaded the "new" supposedly 2018 ver and after it completed the download process, I discovered that it was again the 2017 version instead of the new 2018, so I guess the UN-installation of the 2017…

Just a reminder: Build 21.0.24. 62 ...and the problem remains!

Build 21.0.24.62 ...and the problem persists!

Build 21.0.24.54 ...and the problem is still there!

As far as I know, you have to start your PC in "SAFE" mode first and once you are already there, you have to open msconfig.exe. Select the "Services" tab and there, and only then, you will have the possibility to UN-tick the BitDefender services. Re start again in the normal way (not safe) and BD will be "turned OFF" When…

From Google to Bing to Yahoo, any HTTPS (SSL) site automatically gives me this warning. In BitDefender 2016 I could simply disable the "Scan SSL" and this was true in the beta of BitDefender 2017 as…

To do it. Go to the Settings button in Start Menu (now in Windows 10 AU the gear icon at the left side of the Start Menu) and navigate to the Apps and Features then search in the list for your Bitdefender installation, click on it and choose to uninstall it. Yes, there is no option to repair it in this dialogue. After…

I have the same problem, and apart from opening a ticket, I would like to comment that after the apparently successful Windows update, and besides the lack of "Real-Time" protection, I tried to "Repair" the installation of BD, but I just discovered that it does NOT appear at all on the "Programs and Features" list, so I…

Hi Carlos, Most likely the avc.xml file which holds the settings for Active Virus Control and IDS, is corrupted (take a look at the attached jpg), so you have to replace it for a healthy one (in Safe Mode ONLY) . I am also attaching a copy of my avc.xml, but it corresponds the the AV plus version only so I do not know if…

Yep, Apparently it was fixed, I am not getting the error anymore.

I have done everything I could find on this topic. I downloaded the uninstaller and it does an uninstall and then keeps on doing the uninstall over and over until I close it down. I downloaded http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...r_av_19_64b.exe as suggested for my 64bit windows 10 installation and ran it numerous…

To make sure the fix was downloaded look at the File Version of bdlt.dll from C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender 2015. The latest version that contains the fix is 18.23.0.1614 Hi Georgia, There is NO "bdlt.dll" so maybe you meant "bdtl.dll" and yes, the ver. for the bdtl.dll is 18.23.0.1614 Thanks

Hello again, Further internal testing must be done to ensure the fix is stable before releasing it via automatic update. This is why we decided to postpone until next week this product update. In the meantime, you can apply the workaround below to keep the vsserv.exe memory footprint at the usual ~ 200 MB: - Restart…

AntiVirus Plus "Scan SSL" uses specially-generated BitDefender root security certificates so that BitDefender can do what amounts to a MITM (man-in-the-middle) attack to monitor the PC's SSL-encrypted traffic for malware. Unfortunately, this may expose a PC to the FREAK attack vulnerability widely reported since its…
