It's broken and hasn't been acknowledged. It's been this way since release. In fact, the whole profile thing is a buggy mess. It thinks certain things, like the Steam app are games and puts BD in to game mode.

I'll add to this and say that the profiles need some work. BD 2015 shouldn't be kicking in to game mode when the Steam app is started, But only when an actual game is running. I know it's still beta, but I thought I'd mention it.

Most likely consolidating signatures into class groups. In other words, one signature may detect 100+ variants of one type of virus, so all variants get consolidated in to one signature.

Main window, look at the Anti Virus tab, turn off the "Idle Scan" there. Now it won't auto-scan.

On my Win 7 64b, VSSERV is sitting at 194,386 as I type this. A few patches ago, BIS sat comfortably at around 20 or so megs total for both vsserv and bdagent combined. So, something happened and it needs to be addressed.

Sometimes the center of the BD object (the round thingy) shows a spinner (replacing the checkbox). Sometimes that spinner goes on for a LONG time. Is there a way to see what it's doing when that happens? The spinning means it's updating itself, New definitions, program updates etc, etc.

It's not really a toolbar in the traditional sense. It's a small black tab, below the open tabs in firefox towards the middle of screen. If you click on it, a small tool bar of sorts will drop down.

This is my biggest pet peeve of mine with Bitdefender. Other companies have no problem posting their update notes at the time of update. Is it so hard to have the notes at the same time as the update rolls out, so we don't have to wonder for days what changes/improvements were made?

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but don't you also need a Norton online account to manage your installs? As for Bitdefender, all you need to do is log in once. You'll never have to see it again after that. I guess what I mean, is that when there's a green check, I KNOW Bitdefender checked it out. If it only flagged bad sites and left good ones without a check, I might question whether or not Bitdefender actually checked the site.
