Wow, they never resolved this. I just made a new thread as I thought I'd try again since changing to Windows 8. Same thing. 2 BSODs. First was a dpc watchdog violation & then a bad header or something.

Mike, the issue is that BD IS 2012 worked fine with Dokan & xvm. But as soon as I upgraded to 2013 after a clean install, it blue screened. I uninstall BD & those apps work as they should. I have now uninstalled BD IS 2013 since there is no fix for the compatibility issues. I can run the mod in question as normal without any crashes.

Tried all that & as soon as I click enter to log in, it blue screens.

I am still getting the bsods with the current update of BD.

So is this getting ignored now?

I tried the above as well & it still crashed. Please keep in mind that all worked well with BD IS 2012. Also worked well without BD IS 2013 installed. After it was installed successfully, that is when the issue started.

What if you cannot access safemode due to a glitch that claims no keyboard present during bootup? Keyboard works flawless once in windows though. Don't have a wired keyboard, only USB.

I have tried that. But since it has that self protect feature, it tells me access denied, even when logged in as the TRUE admin. I am always in the default admin account as I never create any others. But I have once tried the true admin account once.

No one knows how to disable it?

Have you guys tried other browsers? I tried FF, Chrome & IE all with the same results, lacking speed etc.

I'm currently working with support trying to fix my internet issue as well. With BD IS 2012 enabled, my connection speed is extremely slow & spiky. With it disabled, all is perfect.

Dany, with the previous version I was using, you could not see the usage I did after I upgraded. But that is not the issue at hand for me now though.

I tried testing with each module disabled & found out it was all of BD that was messing with my dsl connection, thus killing how firefox loads pages. I have since reinstalled MS Security Essentials since I have BD disabled until I can get this rectified. 3 days and counting.....

This I find strange due to Bitdefender Internet Security 2011 working flawless side by side with Microsoft Security Essentials. There were no slow downs or crashes ever on my system. When I installed 2012, it only said to uninstall Malwarebytes.
