I think Bitdefender have fixed this with one of the many updates. Nearly two weeks and it's stayed working all the time.

After the first comment I did a re install. Seemed to fix it but it returned after a few days. Now I switch on and it is ok for a few days then switches off. Is there a link to follow the developers investigation? Cheers David

Hi,thanks for the ideas but I have tried them and it still is missing. Can't find anything on the BD site to help. I am raising with support. If I get it working I will post the fix. I find BD and their support excellent. Kind regards David

Hi, thanks for the reply. Up to this build I have never noticed Bitdefender behaving differently to my other PC's with the standard build. Keep up the good work - so far Bitdefender has kept my PC's clean and safe. An excellant anti virus. Regards, David
