Anything from the Bitdefender team?? I need to renew in 5 days, has this stupid popup, in fact ALL pops, been removed from 2015?
-
So I need to renew very soon; am I renewing or this that stupid pop-up still in version 2015?
-
So, has this stupid pop-up been removed? Or am I staying with BD2014 until my subscription runs out and I find another product?

Hello, At boot all users will see the text “Bitdefender. Awake” . Currently this label is displayed for 1 second and then is fading out. The only way to prevent it is to rename popup.dll and popup.xml from C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender 2015 and disable product updates (from General Settings -> Update -> Update…

I have 'Display special offers and product notifications' disabled, but the popup in question, 'Bitdefender.Awake.' still appears on each bootup. Doesn't really bother me, but it seems a little unnecessary when the red tray icon is already there. Yep with 'Display special offers and product notifications' disabled it still…

It is actually much worse then just this stupid pop-up; every time I I press play on any video I'm taken back to the desktop. Then XBMC crashes. Solution; I've removed Bitdefender 2015 and returned to 2014. I don't think I'll renew either, I'm pretty sick of Bitfender after 5yrs.
-
How is that happening? It only pops up when you first start your PC for like 2 seconds after BD finishes loading. Are you starting programs before BD even has a chance to start its services? It's a media PC with Win8.1 and XBMC; desktop is visible so I click the button on my remote to open XBMC, it opens then goes back to…

I complained on Facebook and was asked to send feedback to bitsy@bitdefender.com and got the following response. Dear M, Thank you for contacting us regarding your concern. We kindly inform you that your Bitdefender account has been excluded from any notification regarding our promotions. M, please do not hesitate to…

I contacted support and had auto-renewal turned off on my account. In 117 days will be switching to a different anti-virus. Myself and the 5 other users on my account are sick of these invasive ads.

Bit Defender support emailed to say the latest update will eliminate the popups. I was told that a couple of years ago. I personally don't believe they give a crap about the few people complaining and are not willing to change or remove this 'feature'. I've been told: - It will only come up around renewal time. Lie (I have…

I get this message when I try to send a PM to Georgia through the forum: "This message can not be sent because the recipient has their personal messenger disabled or they are in a member group not allowed to use the personal messenger. This personal message has not been sent" #EpicFail Same... I will not be renewing this…

I'm happy with the product. It's always in the top 3 or 5 of reviews. But as an Aussie; I'm sick of subsiding Americans. Apple, MS, Sony and tones of other companies charge us upto 25% more without any justification. The exchange rate is very close to $1-$1 and currently a little in our favour. They have offered me 3…

Good plan; thanks!! I think it's pretty poor of Bitdefender to put ads in their software.

@ mdhowes Turning the Antiphishing off doesn't turn the toolbar off from the product. It's just turns the Antiphishing filter. Also, the fix is provided in .36 build and you are using .35. I know, I have everything turned off. So the update that installed yesterday was unrelated? When will I see build 36 in Australia??
-
Great, thanks, Christian. Since you already have the RO update, can you confirm the toolbar stays disabled after a reboot? I just installed the patch, restarted and the toolbar still reappears. Patch did not solve the problem.

Hello Please read this post: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?sho...st&p=134288 Also, that word is banned because is heavily used by spammers. Thank you. What about Australia? No mention of when we will get the patch and from what I could see, there was no mention of this bug.
-
Hello everyone The update was released for the UK and RO markets. For the US market, the update is scheduled tomorrow in the evening, an ETA is 8 PM GMT. All the fixes and new things will be posted here: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=28172 Thank you. What about Australia?

Well, it's 6pm on the '32nd' and still no update. But more to the point; I can't believe bi###ual (bis.exual) is a band word!!!!!! Very strange.
-
STILL no fix for this bug.. But I can't say I'm surprised. It took 6 days to receive my forum password reset email. YEP that's right 6 DAYS for an automated email. It's obvious the only thing Bitdefender do quickly is take your money.

Hello everyone @ mdhowes Could you please provide me the ticket ID so I can take a look in the system? Thank you. Ticket ID:201112141004565

I have the same problem.. It's really starting to ###### me off.. Even when turned off in Bitdefender it is still viable in Firefox and IE. Turns itself back on every reboot. I'm so over this program. Why can't it be a STANDARD add-on the browser can remove! ###### sick of it!

I have a similar problem. It's bloody annoying!!!!! 1x server. Win7 2x clients. Win7 They won't talk at all, I can't even set them up.. Same password on all systems. Tried turning off all firewalls.. Nothing. It just said the remote computer could not be reached. Hopeless. I don't know why this program rates so high in…
