  • I'm not sure if this will help you, but if you are using Firefox, try uninstalling Firefox entirely (you can create a profile in the browser that will save all of your settings, including bookmarks, before you do this, so that you won't lose anything). Reboot, and then reinstall Firefox. That solved the issue I was having,…

On another computer it is working fine without need for reinstallation. SSL scan is on, Bitdefender is listed as certified by, and did not have to add anything in Firefox…

Thanks, I did that, but I still have the problem. On another computer that is still using Total Security 2018, I don't have this issue. I also tried…
  • I just did a repair install for BD, and that seems to have fixed the slow loading issues.
  • Same issue. It takes several minutes for the tray icon and widget to appear, and wallet is not available until the tray icon appears. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now.

  • I still think the best solution at this time is to go back to the 2017 versions. You can't download it from Bitdefender's servers, but if you search for Bitdefender 2017 offline download, you can still find it. You may also need to search for and download Bitdefender Agent, and install that first.
  • Search for Bitdefender 2017 offline download. You may need to install Bitdefender Agent first. I was able to find these files and then put 2017 back on my computer. All is working well again. I will wait awhile to install 2018. I told support that they should make 2017 available as well, given that 2018 is new and still…
  • I have the same issue and am currently chatting with tech support. They are going to send me the support tool. Same thing, that TS 2018 stops allowing me to access the internet after awhile.
  • I have the same issue. The latest update, build, was supposed to fix this issue, but it hasn't.
  • I'm having the same issue. Just started today.
  • I'm having this problem as well. Did an online search for answers, but all of them were over a year old.
  • It's been over 2 hours and I haven't received the "needs to be rebooted" message, so maybe it's finally fixed itself.
