No problem here (with time machine protection enabled). However, after upgrading to Sequoia, I had to unmount and remount my Time Machine disk.

Glad I was included (although a lot of it was griping). Turns out I ended up using the features I was griping about anyhow (antispam). Go figure.

Yeah, I won't be keeping this installed. This was a waste of money. I'll definitely keep this in mind when writing a review. You mention macOS requires user interaction, but the scan is triggered without user interaction (other than the annoyance of needing to close the window).

I just tried this again. Sitting in my home office on my MacBook Air with my Mac Studio and Dell Optiplex Windows 11 computers clearly visible. I contacted support. This turns itself back on after every reboot. I'm really at wits end with the problems with Bitdefender and about to uninstall it.

@Alexandru_BD So you're saying the window popped up immediately based on threats found before the threats were found? I triggered it while sitting in the same room and saw the window pop up immediately.

At the very least, the VPN installation should be optional. Simply unchecking a box during installation would be an OK option. I regret signing up for Bitdefender. It's basically adware pushing their VPN app and not having "special offers" turned off by default in their settings.

Was this ever fixed? It's automatically installed on my devices, which I turned around and uninstalled.
