Does Bitdefender Total Security analyze it using local resources only? Trying to figure out how much of a privacy nightmare this is.

macOS Startup/Login - Ability to Minimize Bitdefender Window
When I restart my Mac, Bitdefender's window is showing up saying I'm protected. Is there a way to start Bitdefender minimized so it doesn't have any popup windows?
