Is Bitdefender really destroy Trojan file or just hide it?

After having an alert that I had a trojan file install on my pc window, I ask bitdefender to destroy it. Why when I look in the folder where was the trojan file and I right click and ask bitdefender to analyse this folder, it's saying I have 2 files but I only see one... Is the trojan file still there but just hide????
