If I knew how Bitdefender decided which apps tp allow access then I might do that.

I replied to the very long supprt email offering to install a beta test of BitDefneder on a clean Windows 11 install to help track down the problem. A reply came: "Hello, Thank you for your response. I've forwarded the details to our development team and I will return to you with further updates as soon as we have one.…

Has the Bitman responded? At least once a day and often more when I am away from my computer when I come back there is a firewall panel waiting that because it has so many instances queued up can't be clicked away and only a reboot will get rid of it. https://youtu.be/_d7xMqpqBVg

Another month has passed and still no fix.
-
It's over 8 months now and still this known issue has not been fixed.
-
I literally clean installed my laptop yesterday from an ISO and then installed BitDefneder from BitDefender Central after removing the old machine from my 3 licences.
-
I got a bit frustated with the problem again the other day. It can happen at any time but just before I am about to host a Zoom session is the worst time. I clean installed Windows 11 from an ISO and installed BitDefender and the same thing is happening. I have two Lenovo laptops, a Legion which until recently was Windows…

Hi You were right the 2nd ticket didn't help. I couldn't find it at first.
-
It started happening after an update, not when I first installed it. The YouTube videos are unlisted. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but I will do that again tomorrow.
-
I received a reply suggesting I turn off aler mode. I replied sarcastially that maybe I should just un-install the software. Honestly I am so disappointed these days with support stadd not just at BitDefender. I am a computer programmer and when I had to do support I would never have suggested the way to fix a bug was to…

I seem to have deleted the previous emails on the old ticket so I just submitted a new one. I am pretty ruthless at housekeeping.
-
Actually I was thinking this one: Bitdefender Support Center bdsupport@tickets.bitdefender.com
-
I also have this issue. My question is what does setting a home or office network actually do.
-
I was going to use the email address from one of my previous support tickets but thought I would start by filling in the form. Is that necessary? An email address is much better for adding link etc?
-
I just tried to submit a support ticket again but couldn't. Posted in the utiities section on that matter.

I really hoped this latest alert mode update would fix thsi problem too but it hasn't.
-
I also received the latest version after a manual update this morning. 😀
-
Here is the update info but like others the manual update from the tray icon does not force the latest update for me.
-
This is still happening and yesterday when I allowed a program that had been blocked I wanted to check later which program it was. When the alert panel is working I see which programs I have allowed access to in info? Is this in a log somwhere? All events, so all the applications that were blocked by the rules (alert mode…

Support replied: "I have looked into the case and it seems that the situation is caused by an issue that has already been acknowledged by our development team. We are currently working on a fix that will be done by means of an automatic update and won't require any additional action on your end."

Ticket created.

As soon as I login to my laptop in the morning I open Bitdefender and check alert mode and leave the panel open and keep turning it on throughout the day. What I am pointing out is that when it has turned itself off it is blocking a variety of well known programs and the image was just one example. So I am periodcally…

Just for reference:
-
I tried just to post two YouTube links but I get the same message: "You have to be around for a little while longer before you can post links." I logged out, cleared cookies and the same thing happened.

Great, Thanks!

I just tried it same here. I have two displays connected to my laptop and I've been watching YouTube videos daily lately for study in full screen on the d2. Just opened settings on d1, pressed f to go full screen and only after pressing k to start playing did I see the alert mode radio button switch off. Hopefully this…

Got up this morning, switched on the laptop, alert mode was off, turned it on, checked a couple of hours later, it was off again.
-
It has started happening to me too. I also used Steam yesterday but that didn't cause it. Now I am checking both of my laptops, one Windows 10 (gaming) the other Windows 11, every morning for both alert mode and profile.
