Please advise how do I exclude a VPN in Bitdefender Internet Security.

My apologies for my not understanding your original question, so I deleted my 1st reply as to not be confusing.

You can add your VPN into Exceptions by following these steps.

If it also has a .exe file, that can be added into Advanced Threat Exceptions as well.

My VPN service provider has suggested that I whitelist/exclude all VPN files/folders within my Bitdefender anti-virus software to avoid any possible interference. Exclude any VPN-associated files.
