AppLock is not working for me either
I've tried everything that chat tech support recommended I tried everything that I'm reading here in the forum and I cannot get app lock to work.
I've also looked for third party app locks that are not working well or display too many pop-ups so I really don't think I'm going to keep any of those junk apps .
I do know that bit defender is rated number one where security is concerned so I'm not too sure about why this feature doesn't work and for so many people not just myself.
I I'm almost ready to uninstall it and find a different security suite application which has an app lock feature.
I am hoping that this can be fixed before I get too frustrated and do so.

I think you should continue to pursue a resolution with the Support teams. If they couldn't resolve this for you yet, and the usual troubleshooting steps didn't help improve the behavior either, chances are only the engineering teams can provide further assistance here, so this case has to be escalated to them via Support.

Thank you very much for your reply I am in the process of working with the engineers however they state that it is on a bit defender's side and it is a problem of their software, they say that they're out development team will have to push an update, I'm not sure how long that will take
