Why does Password Manager require a login to Bitdefender Central?

Password Manager accepts my biometric authentication and then proceeds to require a login to Bitdefender Central. If I knew my password to Bitdefender Central, then I could get my password to Bitdefender Central via Password Manager. However, it's a random collection of characters that I change periodically and I don't intend to memorize them.

Secure Access: By linking to your Bitdefender Central account, the Password Manager ensures secure access to your stored passwords and sensitive information.
Synchronization: It allows synchronization across devices. When you log in to Bitdefender Central, your passwords are accessible on all devices where you’ve installed the Password Manager.
