Installing bitdefender on window 10
I am trying to install Bitdefender Total security on Pc window. everything works until it requires to uninstall current security apps which was Kasperski. when click on "uninstall" I get a message stating "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed". I have used both window and Kavremover tool to uninstall Kasperski but still it does not work. Would you please help? It appears I don't have any old kasperski on my system but, still bitdefender installation fails. Thank you!

Hello.
I think that your best option is to contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by chat, telephone or e-mail:
Chat is the fastest way to get in touch with Bitdefender Consumer Support.
Select: How to's & Troubleshooting Bitdefender products -> Troubleshooting -> select your product, for example Bitdefender Total Security, click on Contact Support in the black box and then click on Chat 24/7.
NOTE: Bitdefender telephone support is not toll-free!
Regards.

There have been some users reporting this issue. The best option here would be to reinstall the Kaspersky product and then use the Kaspersky product uninstaller tool to remove it completely.
If the issue persists, we can try some troubleshooting. It's a bit lengthy, but it has been effective for some users on the forum. If you're willing to proceed, kindly follow the steps outlined below.
1) Restart your PC in safe mode. You can follow this guide:
2) Assuming your Windows drive is 'C,' open the following locations in the 'Run' command (Windows icon + R) one by one:
C:\Program Files (delete any folder named Kaspersky)
C:\Program Files (x86) (delete any folder named Kaspersky)
C:\ProgramData (delete any folder named Kaspersky)
C:\Users{your PC name}\AppData\Local (delete any folder named Kaspersky)
3) Open the 'Run' command again and execute the following commands one by one:
temp - delete all the files in the folder
%temp% - delete all the files in the folder
prefetch - delete all the files in the folder
4) Open the Registry Editor using the 'Run' command (Windows icon + R), then type 'regedit.' Once the Registry Editor opens, click on 'Edit' -> 'Find,' and ensure the 'Match whole strings only' option is checked. Type 'kaspersky' in the search box and click 'Find Next.' If any file or folder named 'kaspersky' is found, delete it. Continue searching the registry and deleting entries until no more results are found.
5) Run Disk Cleanup using this guide:
6) Restart your PC in normal mode by deselecting the option you selected while running the system in Safe Mode, then click 'Apply.'
7) Install your Bitdefender product:
If the issue still persists, kindly contact Bitdefender support by visiting
Select, How to's & Troubleshooting Bitdefender products→Troubleshooting→I don't know→Contact Support→ You will get the option of chat, call or email.
Regards
