Want to know status of a ticket
Why is it so difficult to check the status of a ticket? It is also incredibly obfuscated how to cancel a subscription and it took until I got slammed with the auto-renewal to figure it out.
I got charged for Bitdefender Total Security when I barely used it previously. I was billed for $250 CAD (roughly) and I don't have that kind of money to be throwing away on something I don't use. I hadn't realized I was on an auto-renewal (There wasn't any option when I purchased the license I had purchased) and now I don't have any money for food.
Can anyone tell me the status of my refund ticket I put in? Or tell me where to go so I can track it myself? My ticket number is ********. I had been trying to figure out where to go to cancel the renewal since I was warned about it, and it wasn't until I got hit for $250 that I finally figured out how and could log into the third-party payment system you guys use for it. I'm extremely upset about it. I won't be resubscribing in the future for the fact that cancellation is such a hassle, as is trying to get a refund. I need that money for other things and Bitdefender is not on that list.

Now, there isn't an actual way to check the status of a ticket (the ticketing platform doesn't work like delivery tracking services where you can see where your parcel is). The usual response timeframe when contacting the Support teams may vary between 24 to 48 business hours, depending on the existing workload and incoming requests. Delays may occur during peak hours, but the Support teams will always provide an answer, sooner than later.

i have received an email from your folks about my ticket, but they only offered to give me a discount. I have replied and quoted your refund policy as I am not happy with the product. I don’t even have it installed on anything. I used the VPN only a handful of times and even then, not for anything important. I am still waiting for a reply back after requesting a full refund so we will see how that goes.

I understand. I would expect them to try to retain you as a customer, but if you still wish to receive a full refund and if the order is within the 30-day refund policy, they will issue the refund for you.

yes, the order was processed on Friday last week so it is well within the 30-day period
