IM trying to install a DAW called Presonus Studio One 6.5 - Fails on Win11 - Why? How to fix?

I have bitdefender for windows installed on my PC and I want to install a DAW called Presonus Studio One 6.5 Professional software.

Here is the error I get when trying to install Studio One. "The installer is unable to configure the firewall because a third party firewall (bitdefender firewall) is installed on this system. This may limit the network connectivity of this application."

Security programs like Bitdefender maintain a database of known safe applications. If Studio One or its installer isn't recognized or listed in this database, Bitdefender may treat it as a potential threat. This can trigger warnings or block some of its functionality during the installation.

Studio One may attempt to install background services (e.g., for licensing, cloud sync, or remote control of hardware), which could be seen by Bitdefender as an unauthorized attempt to modify system settings, particularly when it tries to configure Windows Firewall rules.

DAW installers often modify system files, install drivers (for MIDI/audio devices), and create or change firewall rules. These behaviours resemble the actions of malicious software, so Bitdefender could incorrectly flag or block parts of the installation process.

Studio One might require specific ports for network communication, and Bitdefender could be blocking those ports by default. If the installer tries to open or configure those ports, the firewall might see it as a security risk.

Some real-time scanning features of Bitdefender could interfere with the installation process by slowing it down or blocking files that Studio One needs to access, especially if the DAW is unpacking a large installer or performing system-level operations.

So what do I do to install this expensive Presonus Studio One 6.5 Professional software?

Is anybody able to help?

Thanks.
