Hva have managed to set up two accounts under two emails. How do I combine them and then how do I add seats to my subscription?

Answers

  • Do you have a subscription under both emails? If not, you can delete the Bitdefender Central account that does not have a subscription.

If you have subscriptions under both emails, you will need to contact Bitdefender support to request the merging of both accounts into one main email for your Bitdefender Central account.

Kindly contact Bitdefender support by visiting https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/help

  • Hi @Neal Blanchard,

You have two separate accounts each with an active subscription? They can't really be merged, but you can choose where to allocate the protected devices by using the Switch Account feature, in the event you wish to keep both accounts. Essentially, you can move devices from one account to another, so that they become protected under the respective subscription that runs there, if slots are still available.

So, I think the answer really depends on what you are trying to achieve. Should you wish to keep a single account, if the subscription / license that runs in one of them can cover all the devices that require protection, then you can simply decide which account to keep and delete the other. Should you wish to merge the two accounts, that won't be technically possible, but again, you can move the devices from one account to the other, according to your requirements. Should you require more personalized adjustments of your subscriptions / licenses, I think it's best to contact Bitdefender support for guidance.
