Currently, there is no information available regarding UI changes in Bitdefender products for Android (free or paid). Even if there are plans for such changes, the details are restricted to the developers and cannot be disclosed publicly. You will be informed once the information is made public and an update related to it becomes available.
Additionally, @Alexandru_BD might be able to provide some information on this.

Hi,
Not that I know of, but it would be interesting to find out what's your opinion on the current design, what's good and what needs to be improved, if anything, and what would you like to see in a new design, if I may ask? π
Thanks

Hello.
Speaking of a new BD Mobile Security UI, first of all, this needs to be changed as soon as possible:
BD Password Manager has reached end of sale on November 28, 2024.
So, the words "Password Manager" should be changed to "SecurePass".
Also, when i click on "Install", the app redirects me to BD Password Manager, instead of BD SecurePass.
Regards.

Isnβt there a difference between "end of sales" and "end of life/support"? In my opinion, while the password manager is still functional and available on the Play Store, so is SecurePass. However, extensive testing, including feature testing, should be conducted again, as the password manager still offers features that SecurePass lacks, even on Android.

There is. Even if Password Manager has reached the end of sale point, there are still customers using it, and SecurePass is not an actual upgrade per se, but a technology replacement. The existing Password Manager users are not forced to migrate to SecurePass. Anyone who uses the Bitdefender Password Manager can switch to SecurePass or not, according to their preferences.

@Gjoksi I have previously reported this and the developers will make the required adjustments for that Password Manager recommendation in Mobile Security. Thank you for pointing this out. π€
As for the UI updates @Layad N asked about, I'm still waiting for your thoughts on this:
Cheers! π

Hello,
Apologies I didn't notice that comment before. However, the current UI design looks a bit "dull" it doesn't have a vibrant design and the layout is rather confusing.
For example:
Settings: The settings is a little cramped and gets confusing for the eye, the notification center and everything else is jammed in without their own appropriate section.
Old Android UI: I notice that some buttons are very related to an old Android UI, and doesn't have a modern look to it.
Core Protection: The core protection such as, file scanning, web protection and etc are "weirdly" placed. For example, if you go to into the scanning page it shows "App Anomaly Detection" and "Download Scan" and what about web protection? Oh yes, you'd have to go to the NEXT PAGE to view it, what about other features? Oh yes, you'd have to go IN THE SETTINGS to view it. Why not make an entire 1 page for every suited protection with their own appropriate settings? For example, in the middle taskbar we'd have 1 page where we can see all of the protection, such as Web protection, Message protection, App Anomaly Detection and etc. Each with good modern looking buttons and doesn't cramp everything in one place, it would also be reasonable to not add another page, but rather to add it in the scanner area just like how App Anomaly Detection and Download Scan are.
Offers: I'd highly recommend switching the "More from Bitdefender" to the bottom of the settings area. Somewhere where it is not visible, it cramps up the space and it's technically unneeded, and there isn't even an "close" or an "x" button to close it.
Overall: I personally think that this UI was rushed and created in a hurry, and it didn't show full potential.I have more things to say, but that would get into the app itself not the UI. Nonetheless, I'll be waiting for changes.
Layad N,
Thank you.
