Are there any lock folder features, I know Bitdefender discontinued vault. But I really wish if there is anything else I can use to secure my folder and prevent/allow access to some programs.

Maybe VeraCrypt, AxCrypt. I faithfully for years used Cryptainer back when they had the free version LT, than the PE? (larger storage size) version, but it is a bit pricey.

I only require a program that just prevents access to folders/files, and also gives me notifications whether an application tries to access it. I do not need encryption, I just need the option to allow/deny access to programs.
