Getting Sick of Bitdefender Scanning Portable Flash Drives Every Time My Laptop Wakes From Sleep
Is there ANY way to stop this?? I cannot seem to turn off Bitdefender scanning my portable flash drive every time my laptop wakes up from sleep, it is EXTREMELY annoying. I have already gone in to Dashboard>Protection>Antivirus>Settings>Scan Flash Drives>Disable and NOTHING. It did no good, it STILL insists on popping up with 'New Device Detected' and it wants to scan the same drive over and over and over and over, every morning. Is there ANY way of turning this garbage feature off?

Hi @TexasRaider
I suppose you could add that drive into exceptions, and see if that would work. I'm just not sure if that's a good idea security wise if you were to open an infected file in that location. If you know it's safe (has been scanned) may be okay? @Alexandru_BD do you have a better idea?

Tagging @ZBarb here since he seems to be encountering something similar on another thread:
Can you tell us if this is what you both experience?

This continual nag to scan the USB drives is troublesome. If the switch to disable the scan does not disable the offer to scan, please fix it.
