Why is VPN locking me out from my network?

I am constantly having to uninstall VNP so my computer can connect to my network. The computer sees the network, but when trying to connect at boot time, it reads "not connected, no internet". I have extended networks too; the same thing happens. I have to uninstall VPN and once the uninstall is done, the computer automatically connects. No reboot required. Why is this happening?

Also, ensure you do not have any ad-blocker or privacy-blocker extensions enabled, as they might prevent the chat window from appearing
