Need Help Resolving a Virus Issue

My elderly mother lives out of town and has limited computer skills. Her Windows computer is likely infected with a virus that has locked it up. Is there any way to troubleshoot her PC remotely, or should I address the issue during my trip to see her? If remote troubleshooting is possible, what steps should I take to fix it?

Bitdefender support can gain remote access to your PC only after you grant explicit permission. This is usually done through their remote assistance tool, allowing their experts to diagnose whether your PC is actually affected by malware or if another issue is causing the problem.
They typically guide you through the process, and you can monitor what they are doing in real-time. You can also revoke access at any time.
Kindly contact Bitdefender support by visiting
Select, How to's & Troubleshooting Bitdefender products→Troubleshooting→I don't know→Contact Support→ You will get the option of chat, call or email.
To get immediate update, make use of the chat option. Bitdefender support may require logs and will assist you in generating them.
Also, ensure you do not have any ad-blocker or privacy-blocker extensions enabled, as they might prevent the chat window from appearing.
