Unable to connect after upgraded to Bitdefender VPN 5.2.4.1

Hi my Bitdefender VPN was running fine (5.2.3) before. I haven't been able to connect to the VPN ever since i upgraded to 5.2.4.1.

I have been getting error code 99 and I checked everything, including disabling my firewall and it still doesn't work.

I have another machine with me in the same network, running 5.2.3.16, and it is connecting to the VPN fine.

These are my machine information:
- macOS: Sequoia 15.3.2
- Bitdefender version: 5.2.4.1

My questions are:
- How do i fix this?
- Is there a way for me to download the older version (5.2.3)?

Please advise. Thanks.

Well, since you've already tried the tweaks provided in the Bitdefender article ( https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/11311/ ) and they didn't work, consider uninstalling and reinstalling your Bitdefender VPN product. Moving forward, you can't install an older version of any Bitdefender product. Even if you manage to do so, the latest version will automatically be installed via Bitdefender product update.

Okay, so if reinstalling the Bitdefender VPN also doesn't work, then you'll need to contact Bitdefender support.

Kindly contact Bitdefender support by visiting https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/help/

Select, How to's & Troubleshooting Bitdefender productsTroubleshootingI don't knowContact Support→ You will get the option of chat, call or email.

To get immediate update, make use of the chat option. Bitdefender support may require logs and will assist you in generating them.

Also, ensure you do not have any ad-blocker or privacy-blocker extensions enabled, as they might prevent the chat window from appearing.
