Microsoft has killed PCs and we are now running Linux

Dear Bitdefender,
Since Microsoft is killing our PC's ability to run Windows 11 on our not old computers, will your company please re institute Bitdefender for Linux.
I looks like there will be a surge of new users. I am now running Linux Mint on about 5 family PCs. They need active protection. Thanks for your help on this subject.
Sincerely
Malcolm Gaissert

Hello @MGais :)
At times I have been a little resistant in BD supporting Linux, and instead to keep improving the current app, and the other offerings from Bitdefender. But, that is a really good point regarding PC's that aren't Windows 11 compatible.
As you can see below, you are not alone in this. And I do like Linux Mint as a Windows replacement, it's a more Windows like experience.
Kind regards.

Thanks,
Bitdefender must take this seriously, Since more and more are against Windows and AI (Spying)2 -
I'm getting to that point, too. Of maybe converting one of my 11 notebooks to Mint, just to have that option of getting away from all things Windows on it.
And wasn't one of our favorite features of Windows the dreaded BSOD, which now with an upcoming update is being changed to a black screen of death, minus the frown. Another Microsoft/Windows 11 milestone for us 😉😂

The feedback has already been conveyed to the Bitdefender developers. While they have received multiple inputs via the Bitdefender Community Forum, they are also conducting an internal assessment of global market demand. Since the development of any product requires extensive research and development, they want to ensure that resources for the Linux product are allocated strategically and in alignment with market needs.
User feedback, particularly from the Bitdefender Community Forum, is being taken into consideration. However, the product will only move forward in development once the Bitdefender developers are confident in its market viability.
The Bitdefender staff and moderators on the Bitdefender Community Forum sincerely appreciate your feedback regarding the potential development of a Bitdefender Linux product for home users. The Bitdefender Community Forum will be updated as soon as there are any official developments on this matter. At this time, however, no specific timeline has been established.
Once again, thank you for your valuable feedback.
