Please bring Linux back..

@devs, super please bring back the Linux support/version (for residential/individual/family versions) >.< Both my wife and I have migrated from Windows to Linux since earlier this year and there's no looking back. I may run my Windows disk as/thru a VM, but hardly ever, and am either on Linux Mint (debian/Ubuntu based) basically all the time with a rare exception. Plus, with the continuing rise of people switching to Linux has and only will be going up and up as more people use it for handheld gaming (like the Steam Deck) and ESPECIALLY with Microsoft and all their Co-Pilot and Windows Recall crap that I bet we all are aware of by now and they are just proving more and more that they are very untrustworthy and naive or maybe aren't telling us the whole story/motive. I, almost each/every day (and sometimes multiple times), hear another friend(s) or people in an online community I'm apart of (am apart of many) has migrated to Linux of some sort.

The Demand is there and is only rising and will continue to do so. I basically never even use the product anymore running 3+ machines on Linux, I don't really have a reason to keep my subscription anymore when it's up for renewal if it stays like this I hate to say.. :/ I love you guys and your product(s) so very very much and you guys do a great job whenever you do something.

tl;dr: Plz re-add Linux support, need/demand is only going up and up.

Please research the community before posting a suggestion in this section. A Linux version has been requested on the forum on several occasions and there are no plans to develop a home user solution to support this operating system, at least for now. Thank you for your understanding.

I have moved your post to the "Product features and Ideation" category, where it will automatically be shared with the Bitdefender developers.

    I second this request +1

  • Funny, I switched from McAfee to Bit-defender, due to bit being the best(for the USA currently). but I guess I should cut my spending on Bit. since I just switched to Linux, due to Microsoft's greed( I work on the Aerospace industry and some of that stuff is sensitive) with Recall and Copilot.

  • The feedback has already been conveyed to the Bitdefender developers. While they have received multiple inputs via the Bitdefender Community Forum, they are also conducting an internal assessment of global market demand. Since the development of any product requires extensive research and development, they want to ensure that resources for the Linux product are allocated strategically and in alignment with market needs.

User feedback, particularly from the Bitdefender Community Forum, is being taken into consideration. However, the product will only move forward in development once the Bitdefender developers are confident in its market viability.

The Bitdefender staff and moderators on the Bitdefender Community Forum sincerely appreciate your feedback regarding the potential development of a Bitdefender Linux product for home users. The Bitdefender Community Forum will be updated as soon as there are any official developments on this matter. At this time, however, no specific timeline has been established.

Once again, thank you for your valuable feedback.
