Safepay not allowing access to bank website?

Since upgrading to Windows 11, I've been having issues with logging into one of the banking institutions I use. It works fine using Microsoft Edge, but not in Safepay. Other bank logins work fine.

    @camarie I think we've seen this before a few times, right? 🙂

    Yes, we do have an ongoing investigation regarding Royal Bank. The first diagnostic support remote session is in 3 hours.

    Followup: The RBC issue has been fixed (and confirmed with 3 separate support remote sessions). Currently I have one final fix reported on pcfinancial.ca website (fixed, and I'm currently testing it).
    An update containing both will be released in the next period, probably around May 15th.

  • I experience the same problem with RBC.

    I made sure the VPN is not active.

    I still can't access my Royal Bank accout through Safepay.

    No problem if I try directly from Google Chrome which indicates me that the problem seems to be between RBC and Bit Defender Safepay.

    It has nothing to do with VPN. RBC website uses an experimental feature to perform some kind of detection, assuming every browser (almost anything but Firefox) does this in a fixed, expected way. Safepay now incorporates this feature and the fix will be released in the next period.
