Bitdefender VPN stopped working after resetting my Bitdefender Central 2FA

Hi everyone,
I discovered what the problem was. The bdvpnui app (Bitdefender VPN) needs edgewebview2.exe in order to render the login screen. This is a classical browser / .js screen that allows login with OAuth providers such as Google Signin.Unfortunately because I noticed unsafe behaviour from the EdgeWebView, I had to block its traffic from the firewall.
I would have thought Bitdefender has its own electron.js interface, so that's why I didn't notice.
Otherwise, if anyone wants to share thoughts on the security level of using the edgewebview in order to render an edge mini-browser for sign-in, I would appreciate the discussion. If anything, because of how safe the installer is (although I didn't check if it uses TPM 2.0 in the events log), I would think there's no problem if the browser is infected, because it notices via sandbox evasion or so on. If anything, it would tell me that I'm not on a safe system hopefully. But maybe there are some risks?
