How often does Bitdefender update their security content?
I know that endpoints scan hourly for updates of security content, but how often does Bitdefender push out security content updates? I'm working for a company that wants information like this, and I haven't found anything in the documentation yet. If anyone knows the answer and/or can point me where I can find this information, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

In practice, there is no predetermined frequency for malware database updates. Their release depends on the speed and responsiveness of Bitdefender malware research team in identifying and addressing emerging threats.
Additionally, updates are typically deployed in batches, and the timing of these batches can vary significantly. On some days, users may receive around 10 updates, while on others, the number could be 13, 15, or more. This variability reflects the dynamic nature of the threat landscape and the need for timely and flexible responses. As a result, there is no fixed schedule or guaranteed number of updates per day.

I confirm that the process of pushing security updates is as @Flexx described but I do not have a link or a documentation to point it out to you. On the product side however, we have a feature to set a fixed interval on when to check for updates
