VPNs are banned in my country. Previously, the default automatic server locations were Denmark and Sweden. However, the current default automatic location is consistently the country i am living in. This could lead to users being arrested, as VPN usage is prohibited here. While it undeniably offers the best speed, but this poses a significant danger.

When connected to the automatic location , the IP address provided by Bitdefender VPN is also traced to my own country. Please prioritize changing this feature urgently, as it could potentially harm your users.

I confirm that it's a virtual server that is not physically located in Pakistan. It's the same for the Indian server.
The VPN developers cannot change the behavior for Automatic, because the algorithm chooses the server based on proximity, server load, download and upload speed, but the user always has the option to manually choose which country to connect to (in the event they are using the Premium VPN, of course).

Now, the reality is that in some places, using a VPN can have serious consequences like fines or worse punishments. But a VPN vendor cannot really control that. What they can do is to raise awareness, use virtual servers or take more drastic measures, such as withdrawing from such markets completely. But this would leave users unable to benefit from the service.

yea but once you told me that the best practice of using virtual servers is choosing the server outside of my country ? e.g. if i live in india and use virtual location of india , ll not my internet traffic be considered as indian internet traffic by the authorities ? i mean as an indian traffic it ll be monitored as u said b4?

yes but if i connect from india , my virtual location ll be indian, so ll it not be monitored by an indian govt. by considering it as a local traffic , and by dpi tech they could know that i am using a vpn which is banned in india?
