What do I disable in Bitdefender so I can clear my Journal Entries

I'm getting the dreaded 0x80780119 error when using Win 11 image maker. I am trying to use this command:

vssadmin delete shadows /for=C: /all

But Defender is doing it's job very well. I need to disable for just a short time to execute this command…and restart right after.

Steps to Disable Bitdefender Features

Disable Bitdefender Shield
- Open Bitdefender and go to Protection.
- Click Antivirus → Advanced.
- Turn off Bitdefender Shield (choose Until system restart or Permanently).
Turn Off Advanced Threat Defense
- In Protection, go to Advanced Threat Defense.
- Disable Advanced Threat Defense.
Disable Ransomware Remediation
- In Protection, find Ransomware Remediation.
- Turn it off temporarily.
Check Firewall Settings
- If Bitdefender’s Firewall is enabled, try disabling it.
Run the Command
- Open Command Prompt (Admin) and execute:
vssadmin resize shadowstorage /for=C: /on=C: /maxsize=10GB
Re-enable Bitdefender Features
