Can't connect to VPN, I get a upgrade VPN message and can't connect to VPN
If you are using the free version of the Bitdefender VPN product, it only provides 200 MB of data every 24 hours. If you exceed the daily limit of 200 MB within a 24-hour period, the Bitdefender VPN product will display a message prompting you to upgrade to the paid version to get unlimited data for surfing.
Furthermore, @Alexandru_BD, who is the admin of the Bitdefender Community Forum and an employee of Bitdefender, can check your current Bitdefender subscription to see whether you are using the free or paid version of the Bitdefender VPN product.

Does the issue persist? If the daily traffic quota of 200mb/device was exceeded, a pop-up message will be displayed informing you that it will be necessary to upgrade to the Premium VPN version to continue to benefit from an encrypted connection, but also to be able to select from the available servers. If this limit wasn't reached however, and you still receive this upgrade message and are unable to dismiss it, then it's highly possible that some apps/websites are making traffic in the background and this consumes the allocated traffic without you actually browsing the internet. So, that would be the first thing to check, in my opinion. If not, the limit resets itself and you can continue to use your VPN the next day. But it's unclear to me which one is it, have you used the allocated traffic, or not?
