Hundreds of new false positives

Bitdefender just updated two hours ago and I all of the sudden have hundreds of legit files that were pushed to quarantine and all saying they were infected with Gen:Dump:Generic.Dacic.5943.FF91B469

These are things like adobe and even some windows programs.

Is anyone else having this problem? I have to now go and fix hundreds of these. It was enough that the toast notification that popped up to tell me there was a threat detected became unresponsive.

If you believe a website or file has been incorrectly blocked by Bitdefender, you can submit the details to Bitdefender  malware researchers by filling out the form at the link below:

If the website or file is found to be incorrectly blocked, the detection will be removed within a maximum of 72 hours. However, if the detection persists after 72 hours, the website or file will be considered malicious, as determined by Bitdefender malware research team, and the detection will remain.

Until the malware researchers complete their analysis of the files, kindly add the detected items to the exclusions list in your Bitdefender product.

4) Re-enable real-time protection in Bitdefender.
