Dear Bitdefender Support Team,
I am writing to report a critical issue with the Bitdefender Antivirus Free app for Android. The application was working perfectly on my device for a long time, but it has recently stopped functioning correctly.
Here are the main problems:
* Network Connectivity Failure: The app cannot connect to your servers to perform a scan. Any scan attempt fails with a network error unless I use a VPN. The manual scan only works when a VPN is active.
* Automatic Scan Failure: The "on-install" automatic scan feature has completely stopped working. When I install a new app from the Play Store, Bitdefender no longer scans it automatically. I only receive a notification that says, "The app you just installed requires scanning before being used!"
I want to confirm that I have tried all the recommended troubleshooting steps, including:
* Granting all necessary permissions (especially the Accessibility Service).
* Setting the battery optimization to "Unrestricted" / "Never Sleeping".
* Clearing the app's cache and data.
* Performing a full, clean reinstallation of the app (uninstall, reboot phone, reinstall).
None of these actions have solved the problem.
Since the app suddenly requires a VPN to work and I am located in Syria, I suspect that my local Internet Service Provider (ISP) may have recently started blocking access to Bitdefender's servers.
Could you please investigate this from your end? The app has become very inconvenient to use without its core automatic protection feature.
