constant logout from SecurePass

Hi,

I am using the SecurePass extension on Firefox (with my laptop) and SecurePass on Android on my mobile.

For both applications I am frequently logged out when I want to use them. For example, I use it one day, and the next day or even later the same day I have to enter all my credentials again (email, password, passcode sent to email, master password). It was not like this for the password manager. Is there a solution in work for this problem? Many thanks!

Hello @CarstenU ,

Have you enabled the 'Remember me' option on the unlock you vault screen? This should keep your SecurePass session active and only require you to unlock your vault using the master password. Additionally, you can set up a 4-digit PIN code and/or enable biometrics on the mobile app. For the browser extension, the PIN will be required after the inactivity period defined by you (options ranging from 1 minute to 24hrs). In the case of the mobile app the vault will lock after 15s of inactivity and will require either the PIN or biometrics for unlocking. You can find these options in Settings for the extension and More > Settings for the mobile app.

Thanks you, this seems to have worked.

However, I have another problem since. The Securepass Firefox extension on my PC is not working at all. It flashes on and off when I want to use it and does not fill the passwords when logged in. I have to fully remove and reinstall it again .Then it works for some hours and disables itself again. This is very annoying and hinders my usage of the internet. I am running the latest Firefox and am on Windows 11. Thanks for looking into this. Best regards

Can you checkout the latest version of the Firefox extension and let us know if you still encounter the same issues? Your extension should update automatically in the next couple of days, or you can go ahead and reinstall from https://download.bitdefender.com/securepass/firefox/securepass.html
