Transition to Bitdefender.

Hi,

I’ve been a longtime Norton user and recently made the switch to Bitdefender. The transition has been a little tricky for me, and I have gotten a bit lost along the way. I’d really appreciate some guidance on how to properly uninstall and then reinstall Bitdefender. My computer is a MacBook M1. Thanks in advance for your help!

Kindly follow the steps as stated below:

1) Uninstall the Norton product on your Mac: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v20240130211511761?

2) Uninstall the Bitdefender product on your Mac: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1784/

3) Remove your device from Bitdefender Central (if your Mac has been synchronized with Bitdefender Central): https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/2795/

4) Reinstall the Bitdefender product on your Mac: https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/3478/

Select, How to's & Troubleshooting Bitdefender products→Troubleshooting→I don't know→Contact Support→ You will get the option of chat, call or email.

To get an immediate update, kindly use the chat option. Also, ensure that no ad blockers or privacy extensions are enabled in your web browser, as they may prevent the chat window from appearing.

Bitdefender support may request diagnostic logs and will guide you through the process of generating them.
