False positive alarm on game Mafia Trilogy on GOG

Bitdefender Total Security incorrectly detects viruses in Mafia Trilogy, Mafia III Definitive Edition, and the GOG version of Mafia Definitive Edition every time it's installed and launched. Links to the games in the GOG store are below:

If you believe a website or file has been incorrectly blocked by Bitdefender, you can submit the details to Bitdefender  malware researchers by filling out the form at the link below:

If the website or file is found to be incorrectly blocked, the detection will be removed within a maximum of 72 hours. However, if the detection persists after 72 hours, the website or file will be considered malicious, as determined by Bitdefender malware research team, and the detection will remain.

Once you share the websites with Bitdefender malware researchers, and until a resolution is provided, you can set exclusions for the games in question in your Bitdefender product. Kindly note that Bitdefender has two exclusion section: one that excludes folders (Antivirus) and another that excludes executable files (Advanced Threat Defense).

Kindly follow the steps below for instructions on how to set exclusions in your Bitdefender product.
