I have a Samsung external drive - connected by USB which I use to clone my C drive every night. The external drive shows as Drive D. Recently Bit Defender has started to constantly warn me about my external drive and ask if it should be scanned and throws up the File Explorer for the D Drive - at times this can happen almost every minute. Whether I click Scan or Ignore makes no difference. Following online research I have listed my D drive as an exception in Bitdefender Protection and disabled both flash drive and network drive scanning. I've also reinstalled Bitdefender.
The Bitdefender notification pop-up has stopped but the D drive File Explorer still comes up - and when that happens it grabs the keyboard so even typing (for example) this question is a pain.
Any solution (apart from uninstalling Bitdefender) would be welcome.
