Misleading Bitdefender price

The Price of Bitdefender Ultimate Security shows price 3499 Rs on their official website: https://www.bitdefender.com/en-in/consumer/ultimate-security

When you click Buy > redirected to Bitdefender 2checkout website (still shows 3499 Rs)

But, on the last 'confirmation and payment' page it shows 5034.74 Rs // $55.98.

So, do we have to pay 55.98 $?

One solution provided for this, was to pay and then

Bitdefender will refund the remaining amount. But this asks to user to take a risk and trust Bitdefender with offer refund. And what about the exchange rate that will be applied when we pay in $.

Does any one else faced this issue?

To get an immediate update, make use of the chat option. Also, ensure that no ad blockers or privacy extensions are enabled in your web browser, as they may prevent the chat window from appearing.

Bitdefender support may request diagnostic logs and will guide you through the process of generating them.

Hello Flexx,

I have already contacted Bitdefender support and received the purchase and refund solution (as mentioned above). After which I have recontacted them to fix the issue on the website. I am waiting for their reply.

In addition, I have also followed the troubleshooting steps (like clearing cookies, cache, history, using a different browser, a different device), however the issue remain the same. Also, as you are able to reproduce this issue, I suspect this issue is related to Bitdefender or 2checkout website and does not have any connection to my local PC or device customizations.

If you have any other solution or you could expedite the support process it will be very helpful.

Since you have already reported the website issue to Bitdefender support, they will likely forward your case to the Bitdefender web developers. Once the issue is resolved, Bitdefender support will receive an update from the Bitdefender web developers and will then get back to you if necessary.

@User_1 kindly be advised that your ticket has been already assigned to a Support representative, and they will reply to you shortly. Not sure why the price discrepancy, but I've seen similar cases in the past, it can happen for various reasons, such as a previously cached session, VPN usage, or a bad link/url, possibly related to the actual shopping cart.

Nevertheless, you can trust them with a partial refund if it comes to that, don't worry about it. I guess that would be the workaroud until they find out what's going on with that page and fix it.
