Does Bitdefender Agent need to be open at all times?

In order to have protection does Bitdefender Agent need to bo open or is my system simple covered?

The Bitdefender Agent is required to run continuously in the background, as it serves as the core service for all Bitdefender products. Without the Bitdefender Agent, the security features of the Bitdefender product cannot function properly, leaving the system unprotected.

You can check whether the Bitdefender Agent is running on your system by opening Windows Task Manager and seeing if the Bitdefender Agent process appears there. Additionally, there is no way to manually start or shut down the Bitdefender Agent process.
