Hello,
First of all, sorry for my bad english. English is not my native language. I'm currently looking to buy a new laptop and would like to use my license of Bitdefender Internet Security on this brand new machine.
I'm a bit lost however : a lot (and I mean a LOT) of brands use a bunch of AI buzzwords in the description of their products to claim improved security.
By example, a really popular laptop brand (Lenovo, for a Thinkpad in this case) claims that the " Intel Threat Detection Technology " is a CPU level AI feature that prevents cryptomining and ransomware activity. Another one (HP) claims that the AI features (called " HP Pure sense ") of their laptop scans activity to detect potential threats.
All of these features are fine, but I'm wondering if they are redundant with Bitdefender and if they can lead to compatibility problems and even reduced security.
I'm a total noob on the question and would like to know if installing on machines with this kind of features is safe or not.
Once again, sorry if this is a dumb question !
Have a good day (and happy new year, depending of your timezone !)
Atuvu
