Hi.VPN in automatic location mode blocks downloading videos from Youtube and Youtube music. iOS version 26.3. This happens on different phones. If you select a country as a manual location, then the upload of content starts to work.
This seems unusual because I am also using an iPhone and have not experienced this issue. Kindly try uninstalling and reinstalling your Bitdefender product on your iPhone. If the issue persists, kindly contact Bitdefender support for further assistance.

I'm unsure if Support can help here… services like Youtube often detect VPNs and may throttle, restrict, or block heavy traffic like video downloads if the IP they see looks like VPN or suspicious traffic. This is a known phenomenon with many VPN providers, not only Bitdefender. Automatic mode usually selects a server based on load and proximity, but that doesn’t guarantee the IP isn’t on a list flagged by YouTube or Google for blocking high-traffic multimedia flows. Most likely, manual server selection gives you an IP that Youtube accepts for video downloads/uploads.
