Hello! Apologies if this has already been asked and answered a million times before but I'm at my wits end. For context, my father has just purchased a new laptop for me to use at college during fall 2026 and so on seasons. He had me download BitDefender and i've now got an issue that neither he nor I can solve. For some reason when i go to google something the page will not go through and will instead state "This Site Can't Be Reached" (ERR_QUIK_PROTOCOL_ERROR). Additonally some sites that i know the domain of will not load either - example, Google Drive will not load. In these cases, though, my computer instead says "This Site Can't Be Reached" (ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED). I've tried turning the VPN on and off, checking that the stealth mode wasn't on, checking that the kill switch wasn't active, changed VPN locations, checking that Chrome was allowed on my firewall, and doing any other things that i could think of to attempt to resolve this issue. I believe these issues are because of BitDefender aswell because in the first few minutes when my computer turns on i can access the web without any issues, and this is because BitDefender was not yet fully booted up. But as soon as it loads up I'm back to being locked out of essentially everything.
